Charlie Planson first started shooting at the age of 15 on his mobile phone with an Olloclip fisheye lens, the next year he received his first DSLR, a Nikon D3300. Becoming a self taught photographer over time and spending most of his time around local skateparks in the South East of England, Horsham, he developed a unique style behind the lens.

Being surrounded by likeminded people who share a passion for the skatepark created countless opportunities to shoot and film, this is where he developed an eye for detail.

 

Surf and ocean lifestyle photography was the next chapter for Charlie. Moving to Falmouth, Cornwall, only seemed appropriate. Using his photographic skills he has applied this to his current work in and out of the water, creating eye catching surf photographs.

 

Charlie is currently studying BA Press & Editorial photography at Falmouth University, UK.
